Site manager
Due to a forward order book 2MS are looking for an experienced Project manager to join our team.
Responsible for the management of projects up to £5M throughout the UK responsibilities will include:
- Managing the project from start to the final hand over to the client
- Site management including co-ordination of sub-contractors whilst monitoring performance against contract targets
- Managing cost, quality and time
- Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to at all times
- Ensuring specifications and drawings are followed
- This role requires working on projects across the UK. The successful candidate must be willing to stay away from home during the working week (Monday to Friday), with travel to site typically on Sunday and return home on Friday afternoon. This is an essential requirement of the position.
Qualifications:
A construction-related qualification is required, such as a university degree (e.g. BSc in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar), or a vocational qualification at NVQ Level 6/7 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and be an excellent communicator at all levels.
